A Nurse Practitioner utilizes advanced health assessment, knowledge, and decision making skills, they work independently and in collaboration with physicians and other health care professionals. NPs provide health care to individuals and families, emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention. They may care for patients ranging in age as noted in age-related category and area of expertise. Position requires high level of customer service skills to establish and enhance positive relationships with patients, co-workers, and others.
The Urgent Care opened March 21, 2016. It is a busy work environment that continues to adjust workflows to meet the needs of the patients and staff. There is excellent teamwork among the staff and the NP's.
The team is made up of 3 NP's at this time.
The ideal candidate will have experience in Urgent Care/Family Practice.
Anticipated Schedule: 10 hour days, every other weekend 10 Hour Shifts - every other weekend, 2 NP's scheduled for all shifts
Estimated Patients seen per day: 30-35 between the two NP's
Successful completion of Essentia Health credentialing process prior to practice
