Working as part of a dynamic and collaborative team, the Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner provides episodic care to the students, staff, faculty, staff, and dependents of Harvard University. The Nurse Practitioner is responsible for the assessment, treatment, and appropriate follow up and referral of patients in the Urgent Care Department. This position also performs procedures such as suturing, splinting, and incision and drainage. Patient education is vital to our community.

Union: 00 - Non Union, Exempt or Temporary
A required two year minimum experience working in an Urgent Care or Emergency Department as an RN or NP. A graduate of an accredited School of Nursing Licensed to practice in the advanced practice role of NP. State and Federal DEA Certificate as required.
Previous experience with Urgent Care procedures.
