The Smyrna Primary Care Practice is looking for an Office Assistant to join their team! Christiana Care's Primary Care practice located in Smyrna, DE offers medical care for a diverse population including newborns up to geriatrics. It's currently staffed with six providers: three physicians and three nurse practitioners. We offer a wide range of services and collaborate with other specialty practices to deliver care to our diverse population. This position is the first point of contact between the practice and the patient and is responsible for creating a friendly, welcoming calm and efficient environment for the practice. The Office Assistant serves patients with poise and compassion, fields phone calls, answers patient questions, schedules appointments, registers patients and updates EMR and represents the entire practice every time there is interaction with a patient. Smyrna is a busy, high-volume office, with heavy call volumes, seeing over 70+ patients in the office per day. Our hours of operation are Monday and Wednesday, 8am-7pm, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, 8am-5pm, with Saturday hours, 8am-12pm. Applicants will be required to work a late night and Saturday hours, on a rotational basis. Applicant must also be flexible, great attitude, and have the ability to work in a team.
